Brittany Thornton, CPM, LM & Clinical Director
Brittany lives in Belton with her husband, two children, and five crazy but lovable dogs. She worked as an EMT-B in 2003 before joining the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of her time in service, she became pregnant with her first child and after feeling lost in the shuffle at an OB practice, she switched to seeing midwives at a birth center. It was then she realized that she wanted and needed to be in birth work to help empower birthing people and their families and leave birth better than she found it. She is currently a NARM Certified Professional Midwife and a Licensed Midwife in the State of Texas. Throughout her 8 pregnancies, Brittany has personally experienced an epidural birth, cesarean sections, VBACs, and unmedicated births. Through surrogacy, she has helped to grow families of many different dynamics, to include same-sex couples and single parents. In her off-time, she enjoys indulging in reality tv, hoarding dachshunds, and swimming in the lake.
